Norfolk – Bobbie Jean Hall, 72, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2012. She was born on May 25, 1940 to the late Archie and Thelma Love. Bobbie had an unyielding faith in Christ. She especially enjoyed sharing Christ with children. She was a member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church, where she taught Children’s Sunday School and directed Children’s Choir. Bobbie was a role model who showed unconditional love; she was always giving to her children and to others, and was a true patriot of her country.
Bobbie worked in the legal profession for more than 40 years. She continued her career by starting a business with her mother called “Nanny’s Nook.” This shop showcased so much of their craftwork and passions. They specialized in crocheting, ceramics, dolls, and more.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cedric Marston and daughter, Jennifer Geygan and her husband Andrew; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the funeral home. At the family’s request burial will be private in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CHKD. You may pay condolences to the family at www.smithandwilliamsnorfolk.com.
