Patrick Emilius Murray

Patrick Emilius Murray died at 56 years old on February 2, 2022 surrounded by family at his home. He was born on May 24, 1965. He was a life-long resident of Destrehan and a graduate of Destrehan High School. He is survived by his children Sara Jones (Shawn), Justin Pearson (Malia), Andrea Berlemann, Adam Berlemann, Zachary Murray, Seth Murray, Patrick Murray, Jr.; brothers, Paul “Joey” Murray (Stacy) and Peter Murray (Laura) and sister Amy Murray; fourteen (14) grandchildren; and many cousins and friends. He is the son of Paul J. Murray, Jr. and the late June LeBlanc Murray. He was preceded in death by his sister Lisa Lynn Murray. Patrick enjoyed making music with his friends, with Patrick playing drums. His favorite saying was “Please don’t ever forget where you come from, where you been and most important where you are going, sacrifice determination and keep on keeping on!” He said the happiest times of his life were going out on the boat with his family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
