Laura Savage

Laura Savage (Erickson) passed away on January 5, 2018. She is survived by her sons, Troy Savage (Lisa) and Shawn Savage. Grandchildren, Hillary Brandner (Justin), and Troy Savage Jr. and two great grandchildren, Hadley and Cooper Brandner. She is also survived by two sisters, Beverly Barrios and Cindy Landry, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle “Shelly” Savage and her parents, I. C. Erickson and Corrine MacMillan.

Laura grew up in south Louisiana. After marrying she spent the next 30 years in Minnesota where she raised her three children. She worked as seamstress. Her work in this area allowed her to touch many lives making wedding days and other special occasions more memorable. Laura had a gigantic personality and left and impression on everyone she met. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St. Norco, LA, on Friday, January 12, 2018 beginning at 9 AM.
