Inez Joy Hoefeld Lay passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016. A Native of New Orleans and a resident of Destrehan. She joins her beloved husband in Heaven, Leo Lay Sr. She is survived by her children; Patricia Watson (Johnny), Leo Lay (Former Alessandra Ravaioli), Karen Krieger (Lloyd), Gary Lay (Icel), Kevin Lay (Former Debra), 12 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Elmeer and Doris, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family members. She is preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Inez Ramon Hoefeld, brother Ronald, two grandchildren; Mary and Christina, and one great- great grandchild, Jaxson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, LA on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM. A Liturgical service will be held at 12 PM.
