She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Roberts Sr. and brother Gary Roberts Jr. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Steven Brown Sr., her son, Steven Brown Jr., her mother, Iris Andrus, and sister, Susie Powell. She is also survived by her nieces, Jessica Pfister (Jimmie), Ashely Ranatza (Kevin), and Brittany Powell (Joshua Nye), great-niece, Hailey, and great-nephew, Luke.
Dawn worked at Lane and Assoc. Inc. for over 25 years. She loved fishing with her husband and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart and her strong will power.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 1PM with a service to begin at 1PM. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
