Anita and family,

The Daniels' family has many fond memories of Bobby.  I will only cite one: as a young teen, Bobby, Michael, Doreen and Bob visited our old rented house we used for snowmobiling.  There was a mouse in the house and Bobby was the only "man" there at the time.  Doreen insisted Bobby catch the mouse and "rescue" the girls.  Bobby was scared of the mouse but did as his mother directed.  The mouse ran up Bobby's right pant leg; he danced around screaming like a girl; and the mouse exited his left pant leg. Anita, Joe, Tosha, Michael and families, we are thinking of you all at this very sad time.  I have fond memories of my childhood with Bobby and I always looked forward to catching up with him and hearing about his adventures when our paths happened to cross in our adult years. 

It is so hard to say goodbye to someone so special. We know that his presence will be deeply missed by many who knew him.

It is very  sad to hear of Bob's passing. Brenda and I wish to extend our deepest  sympathies to all on your loss. Although we have grown apart over the years, I well remember the many adventures  had while growing up next door to each other. Although we will not be able to attend the gathering for Bob on Saturday, our thoughts and best wishes will be with you all.

Norm and I were so sorry to hear about Bob.  This happened too soon as you had many more roads to travel together.

Anita and family; I have so many wonderful childhood stories of Brenda, Paula, Alan, Bobby, Mike and I (and the many other Smith cousins) playing in Poppa and Nanny Smith's barn and property near Odessa.  Those were always great days.  

Bill and I are so sorry for your loss.  Too young to leave us, but he certainly left a legacy of kindness, humor and generosity as seen in all these wonderful memories people have been sharing.  Thinking of you Anita in this very difficult time.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Bob, I had the honour to work with him for 29 years, he was a very knowledgeable person in his field of work,  always helpful,  and went out of his way to help you out.  He always talked about his love of his family, his fun bike rides and his plans for retirement. Bob was a Pillar in the Beck complex, he will be missed, may you rest in Peace..Angelo Albanese

Sue & I shared many miles with Bob and Anita but not enough, he was always good for the odd gravel road or so and we always felt secure when they were in the lead.
Every bend and curve was an adventure when following Bob and we enjoyed every mile.
I shall miss him and his wit and although I don't ride any more he will always be in my mind.

Anita and family,

Sadly, my husband and I were the military veteran couple there supporting you on Remembrance Day. Steve, being a retired military medic having served in conflict areas around the world, did not give it a second thought to be there for Bob. He recalls comforting him while doing initial response and telling him to open his eyes. Bob did open his eyes to Steve’s voice and am sure that he received comfort knowing he was being cared for by so many compassionate strangers, willing to respond.  I am blessed and hopeful that I may have been able to being you some comfort, as a caring stranger. As someone who has supported military families through crisis, I hope I was able to bring just a glimmer of comforting energy to your most traumatic experience. Our thoughts are with you and your family. We are so sorry for your loss. RIP Bob. We will remember.

Dear Anita (family and grandchildren)

We've known Bob and Anita for a long time.  We enjoyed many years with Bob, his parents (Bob Sr., and Doreen),  his brother Michael, camping, snowmobiling, and all kinds of events. Very great friends. When Bob and Anita moved to Niagara Falls lost more personal contact.   
However,  I personally remember one time camping and Bob Jr. was water-skiing. He had one foot on one ski, and, jumped off the dock into the water. Successful landing on the water. Bob Sr. driving the boat.   Another time with Jean to Niagara Falls to visit with Bob and Anita, met them at the casino for lunch; hearing about the changes in their lives and family.  Joe and Tosha, we do remember seeing you when you were children growing up.  Leia and Ben, always remember your Grandpa.   Things change our lives but sometimes keeps us closer together in thought!

I worked with Bob for almost 30 years. Bob was always a pleasure to work with. He will be deeply missed. My condolences to your family on this vary sad loss. 

Anita and family I am saddened and shocked at Bob's passing.  I had the honour and Luxury of working with Bob for 8 years and he was such a great mentor to all Electrical Operators.  His quick wit and sarcasm was appreciated by all of us (mostly) and he was always there to lend a hand.  His passion for veterans was 2nd to none.  He will be missed and all I can hope is that all the great memories you have of Bob will help to heal your hearts.  His family was always his #1 priority and he spoke proudly of all of you.

First met Bob first in 1986 at River Control and worked with him for many years since that time. Many memories of Bob as an outgoing and considerate man with a deep love for family. My deepest condolences and prayers to Anita, Joe, Tosha and Bob's extended family on this huge loss. 

Scouter Bob, Lots of memories and good times had by all his Scouting youth and leaders. Never a dull moment. Awesome sense of humour with a quick whit. I wished I was one of his scouts  in his troop...guaranteed blast! I'll miss him too at Trivia Nights.
To Anita and the Smith family...I am so sorry for your loss. I'll miss him dearly.

Got to know Bob couple of years ago and what a great person he is and to visit with when we have get to gethers. Going to miss seeing and visiting with him. Prayer for the Halbur family going to Bob, Anita and family. 

Bob was a favorite friend, he and Anita were very supportive when i lost my wife. Our annual meetings in Newnan Georgia, when they were headed to Florida.  And when they would drive to Windsor Mo., for a pancake breakfast.   Bob and Anita were always open and friendly.  Good times always.
Good times when it was rumored that Bob overloaded the septic system at Bill's house.  Or he let Anita go to a charity auction in Arkansas,  with a open check.   
His presence will be missed. But his memories will be with us always.

My thoughts and prayers are with your  family in this time of loss. Bob will be deeply missed by all.
