Karyn Joyce Dale

Karyn Joyce Dale passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 78, following a battle with dementia. Karyn was preceded in death by her dad Albert Bruce (1996), and her sister Deborah Rudge (2003). She will be greatly missed by her mom Frances Edith. She was the cherished mother of Kelly Stokalko, Rhonda Stokalko, Marnie Duld (Reini), and Kathleen Power (Dave). Karyn was also a beloved sister to Bill (Gertrude), Bruce, Craig, and Pamela Torode.

Karyn was a graduate of the Niagara Falls Collegiate Institute and worked as a 2nd Cook for Upper Lakes Shipping (later Algoma Central Corporation), where she dedicated her career. Her hard work and dedication were recognized with an achievement plaque and pin for 15 years of service, and she then retired in 2020 after 21 years of service.

Karyn will be missed by her seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews, as well as her family and friends. The family will hold a burial on Friday, January 12, 2024 for 1 P.M. at Lundys Lane Cemetery (7489 Lundy's Ln, Niagara Falls, ON). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society in Karyn's name.
