John was given the name “Popeye” by his beautiful granddaughter Mia. John was a very simple man that truly loved his life and family, especially his grandchildren who will greatly miss him. John was always the one in the family that everyone went to for advice and support, or even if you just needed a good laugh, you always left feeling better after talking with John, he was always a positive influence on anyone he ever spoke to.
John came from a very loving family with 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Some of you may not know that John was an alter boy with his brothers at St. Ann's church when he was very young and also served in the Canadian Armed Forces when he was 18 where he toured Europe had many great experiences there.
When John was 25 he met and fell in love with Anne, they shared 49 fantastic years together and had a son, Philip that made him very proud, his fiancé Cassandra and 2 wonderful grandchildren, Mia and Ace.
John loved the simple things in life and always made sure to “stop and smell the roses”……..we should all take a page out of John's book.
To say that John was one of the good ones would be a tremendous understatement, he truly was one of the “GREAT ones”, may you rest in peace John.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Lococo family.
