Passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at 79 years of age. Loving friend and companion of Doreen Brown. Dear father of Bruce of Fort Erie. Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Gordon, his sisters Hazel & Marie, and by his in-laws and extended family. Predeceased by his sons Daryl & Barry, his brother Harold, and sister Jean. Howard was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #71, Fort Erie and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Fort Erie.
Family and friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, for a memorial visitation on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service held in the chapel at 1 o’clock. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Howard’s memory to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
