To all the Wheeler family, Phyllis, Dave, Dan, and Doug. I am so very sorry for your loss. As you all know I had Frank as a teacher  at A.N.Myer and knew him later as a friend, and a mentor. I enjoyed our times up at the family cottage and remember many happy times shared with Frank and Doug. I will always look upon these times with great fondness. He will be greatly missed by all his students. He was a teacher unlike most who really cared about his students. May he rest in peace.....

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I fondly remember days at your house, hanging out with David, and the banter back and forth between Mr. Wheeler and everyone in the house.
I know that there are no words I can say that will dull the pain that you all are feeling right now, however in time the pain will fade and only the happy memories will remain.

So sorry to hear of mr wheelers passing. I too had mr wheeler as a auto teacher at nfcvi in the late 80's. He was such a great man and teacher. I too went on to be a automotive technician and smile and think of him every time i  see an old Volvo. May he RIP and may God bless him famiy at this difficult time.

When I first arrived to teach at Myer in l972 one of the first teachers I met was Frank Wheeler. He always had a smile on his face and was very easy to talk to. He made a strange new place feel like "home". I miss you Frank.      Maria Godfrey (Guidance)

I have such fond memories of my Uncle Frank.  We had so many wonderful times full of laughter and love.  Although I am saddened by his passing, I hold dearly all the great times.
He was such a giving, humble man and lit up the room whenever he was in it and gave joy to all he knew.  My prayers for my Aunt Phyliss Dave, Dan and Doug

I am very sad to hear of the passing of your father as I have many memories of him and the whole family while growing up on Pandora Circle. Your dad was always a fun person to talk to and all the things he let us do in his house, I will never forget. Your dad was a very kind caring man and he will be missed a great deal.  And Mrs Wheeler, my condolences to you as you and Mr Wheeler were a large part of the Saint Amour family as well.

I will always remember our talks at the cottage you reminiscing of the good old days and how the cottage began, all the fun we had playing with Ryah, all the word games, what a laugh we had .  Thank you for making me feel like one of your family  Uncle John .

I was saddened to hear of Mr Wheeler's passing and I would like to extend my condolences to the Wheeler boys and the entire family.  As a former student of Mr Wheeler, I know I speak for the thousands of students that held him in high regard and had a great deal of respect for.  I spent 2 hours per day for 3 years with "Sir" and we learned much more than automotive. Mr Wheeler taught and prepared us for life and working life.  He taught us respect, professionalism and many of the life lessons he taught us still have an impact on me to this day. May you Rest in Peace sir. I am thinking of you and your family. PHYLLIS and family we are very sorry to hear of FRANK'S passing. The times and memories will always bring a smile and a chuckle. The many escapades with"WHEELS" were stories that you had to be there to truly appreciate the humour . His easy going ways were truly an example that all of us should practice. He will be missed but never forgotten..May the good times remembered get you through your loss.

Sorry to read about Mr.Wheeler's passing. Iny last year of high school my friend and I thought it would be an easy credit to take his automotive class at Stamford school. Easy because first of all , we were girls and figured he wouldn't let us wreck our painted nails with grease , and easy because we he heard he was such a great teacher to have .  Well he definitely was a great teacher yet he didn't let our girl status win, because he had us taking apart engine parts and putting them back together, and learing how to change auto fluids in no time. Told us these were things we needed to know lol. I'll always remember that class with fondness as Mr.Wheeler was definitely one of a kind , and always had a smile and a moment for all.  My sympathies go out to his family .... I'm sure he's telling the angels that a little grease won't hurt them right at this moment :)

I was sorry to hear about Frank's passing. When I started teaching at A.N.Myer in 1975, Frank and a couple of other guys took me under their wings, and helped me  get used to my new life. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He helped me become a better teacher, and become more comfortable with my new peers. My wife and I would like to offer our condolences to his entire family.
