David D'Orsay

Passed away peacefully at home in Niagara Falls, surrounded by his beloved family on February 10th, 2022 at the age of 71. A profound loss to his wife Jane and children; Anjie (Craig) Inglis, Rebecca Walsh, Jim (Melissa) D’Orsay, Emma Rayner, and Dan (Lonya) D’Orsay. Deeply loved by his grandchildren Tesa, Laurel, David, Lila, Erin, Jack, Sol, Adam, Cassie, Zoe, and Alex. Survived by brothers Barry, Frank, and Michael, as well as a large extended family.

Since his retirement from the Niagara Region Public Works Department, David has been an active member of the Stamford Centre Volunteer Firemen’s Association. Dave (The Brave) leaves a rich legacy with his lifetime commitment to Scouts Canada among countless community causes. He was a good man who will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6 - 8 pm. A private funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
