Passed unexpectedly on March 5, 2022. Bobby was born on July 18, 1957 and raised in Union City, NJ. He resided in Newton, NJ at the time of his death. He was 64 years old.
Bobby retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years. He also retired from Weiss Supermarkets.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Sr., and Frances Pfeiffer, and his brother Steven Pfeiffer.
He is survived by his sister, Deborah and her husband, Greg Mehlfelder, his sister-in-law, Laura Pfeiffer, his brother Michael Pfeiffer and his wife Darline, his sister Doreen and her husband Bill DeHaas, and his brother David Pfeiffer and his wife Courtney. He is also survived by his dear Uncle John Cessorsmo, 12 nieces and nephews, and 4 great nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Andover, NJ. He was a Lector, Eucharist Minister and beloved Catechist for many years devoted to teaching his faith to young adults.
Bobby was an avid sports fan. He loved spending countless hours rooting on his New York Mets, Rangers and Jets. His favorite sport was bowling. He was most proud of winning the 1975, NJ State high school individual championship, while representing St. Peter’s Prep of Jersey City.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Road, Andover, NJ with interment to follow at Good Shepherd R.C. Cemetery in Green Township.
