
To the Pierce Family: I was saddened to hear that Alberta Pierce had passed away. 
I had the honor to work closely with her,  she was and always will be  an Icon in the Real Estate Community, at the local and National level. Everyone knew and respected Bert. 
We shared many laughs together,  talking to Bert was never just  a few minutes, instead went on for and hour or two... She had a wealth of knowledge, I learned so much from her,  as she guided and showed me the ropes in my role to  and through the presidency of the Sussex County Association of Realtors in 2007-2008. 
Forever grateful Bert, and happy you are part of my story, until we meet again.

I first met Bert when my mom, Linda Ward, was a realtor in Sparta.  She was always on top of her responsibilities and a welcome face to have a chat with.  When I began my own career in Real Estate years ago,  I worked with her on a few of the committees and our relationship evolved into a friendship.   When she retired, she was missed by many.  Rest in Peace, Bert.  See you in heaven some day.  Jen Ward Phillips

Bert was one of the best to run our Sussex County Board of Realtors. She was extremely knowledgeable and always with a smile when she greeted you. It was a pleasure to have worked with her.                                                                                 

I'm so sorry to hear for Bert's passing.  A sad day indeed.  My sympathy to her loved ones.


I started in real estate sales  many years ago in Bergen County and remember meeting "Bert" at one of the State Conventions in Atlantic City. 
She was introduced to me as one of the most informed and experienced Executive Officers. She seemed to have a wealth of information to share and year after year she seemed to remember me and was always up beat and friendly. When I relocated to Sussex County and Joined the Sussex County Assoc of Realtors She was always a delight and always very helpful. I was sorry when she retired as the Exec Officer and missed her commitment to the real estate industry.   My prayers for her family.
