Susan Jeanette Grantham, 67, passed away from a sudden illness at her home in Lancaster, Ca. on December 15, 2014. She was born on November 18, 1947 in North Hollywood, Ca. and for most of her younger years resided and graduated high school in Whittier, California.
In 1982, Susan moved to the Antelope Valley and has been an active member in our community since. For the last 28 years she has been an active real estate agent/broker helping many families along the way. She has been an active member of the Showdown Rodeo Committee for the last 20 years and spent 4 years as a member of the Valley-Oasis Amigos and these are just a few… aside from this, she enjoyed her family, her animals, her wine and getting away in her motorhome.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, Tiffany Grantham; her son, Charles (Chuck) Grantham; her son-in-law, Stephen Leaf; her granddaughter, Ashley Grantham; her granddaughter, Samantha Leaf, her grandson, Cole Leaf; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, Angela, Anabell and Scotlyn Leaf and her mother, Rusty Finn. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Grantham; her father, Delmar Epperson and her mother-in-law, Edna Epperson; who all welcomed her with open arms.
Funeral services are December 27, 2014 at 1:00pm at Eternal Valley Mortuary, 23287 Sierra Highway, Newhall, Ca. 91321
While flowers and gifts are appreciated, it would mean more to the family to have any and all donations made to Children’s Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House in Los Angeles.
“Mom has had a lot of wonderful people in her life and always lived every moment to the fullest as I’m sure many can agree. Oh, she was a pistol, but a genuine heart of gold! We love you so much Mama, cheers for now... we’ll save the rest for later. With all our love to you, your family.”
