Steven Anthony Tate was born on November 19th, 1949 in Los Angeles. He was raised in Bel Air where he attended grade school and junior high school. He attended university high school in West Los Angeles, completing his studies in 1968. Steve received a Master's Degree in Taxation form the California University of Northridge in the early 1980's. Steve, a C.P.A, practiced solo in North Hollywood for several years.
Steve was the older son of the late Marshall and Geraldine Tate of Phoenix, Arizona. HIs brother Kevin predeceased him. He had one child, his beloved daughter Katherine (Katie) Tate Logerot. He is survived by Katie, his son-in-law Joshua, and his cherished grandson, Christian Logerot. Steve was happily anticipating the imminent birth of a beloved granddaughter, baby Charlotte. Steve leaves behind his maternal cousins, also of Phoenix. He also leaves behind two nephews and one niece of suburban Detroit, Michigan. Left are many friends, some life-long, and many acquaintances.
