I am so sorry to hear about this. I am so grateful to have been Mentored by Her when I went to John Robert Powers in the late 80’s. Her coaching helped me build lots of confidence that has helped me in life. I am sending light and healing hugs to her family.

I was DL's friend and roommate in Santa Monica going back to 1984. She had such a big heart and kind soul. I am truly saddened to hear this news of her passing. May she rest in peace.

I am devastated hearing just today (9/13) today about my dear friend DebraLynn who has passed away.  I didn't know about any of this and heard today from a mutual friend.  I too worked with DL from 1981 for many years ⁵⁵at the John Robert Powers schools.  We were an inseparable team for many years. We worked together, hung out together, grew up and eventually grew apart mainly because of location.  I knew some of her personal dreams and will always cherish those days.  So glad we got together a few years ago for lunch in SCV to catch up.  I so wish I got to see her and pray with her one time before she transitioned.  God knows how much I love my dear friend and I pray her family is comforted and strengthened by the love of God. 😔 💙

DebraLynn, you were my beacon of light in Los Angeles and my safe place to land for this woman who had never lived anywhere other than Florida. You were the 1st person to say YES to me in LA and from the first day we met I knew we would be friends forever and ever.  You always lit up when I came in the office and I saw you do the same with others as well. How could we not do anything but thrive in this industry - well the world - with you by our side.

I’m incredibly saddened by the passing of Debralynn! We worked together at John Robert Powers in the 80’s, When hair was big and DL’s smile and heart was bigger!! She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and her gift was her ability to see your sparkle, ignite that fire inside you and help you to achieve your dreams! Although I will miss her terribly, I take with me all that she was and shared with me!!!

You all are in my prayers. Debralynn was more than a manager! She is kind, considerate, knowledgeable  and a straight shooter. I knew my son was in great hands for his career after having a heart to heart with her a little after he first signed with her. Her having his back , believing in him and pushing him to be the best has been wonderful to watch and gave me comfort. Her legacy will not be forgotten! She became a staple in his life and he loved her dearly. We are heartbroken over this news and will continue to keep you all in our prayers. Debralynn as always, thank you for being who you are and for believing in these little boys from Cleveland. You made a difference and it will have a life long impact on their lives. You are missed.!

To all her dear friends, colleagues and associates, I will fondly remember DebraLynn's presence in my life. Always, a soft welcoming smile and sweet spirit.  I know I will miss her whenever I drive by Discovery Management or go to a scouting event. She cared about others and that was her driving force.

I am so sorry for your loss. Debra Lynn and I  worked together at John Robert Powers in Woodland Hills and Agoura Hills 30 years ago! She was a talented, beautiful model, singer and teacher. Her leadership led our JRP for many actors and models successes. She was a true go getter. She was ceaseless at her job moving all the time. She rarely sat down!! She was a true people person. But also a private person herself. I then heard she went into managing talent in TV and film. I would run into her here and there. I am shocked hearing about her passing.
