Dear Alvarez family, 
Hard to believe Clifford is gone. Our families have known  each other for 50+ years. Cliff , Mike and Rickie were like brothers to us growing up.
 Mr. and Mrs. Alvarez, Sending you a big Aloha and a hug. Brothers Mike and Rick  it’s never easy loosing a sibling.  Know that I am praying for your family. Time never heals the heart. we just learn to move forward the best we can. Lives change in so many ways. Take one day at a time. To his children may your memories of your dad never fade away. 
My heart feels for you all. Clifford will never be forgotten. We had some great times growing up with you folks here in Union City . A life time of family and friendship will always be.

We were always good friends. A picture at the 8th grade Valentine's Dance.

I think this was his 7th or 8th grade picture.

I am still in shock. I have known Clifford since the 5th grade back at New Haven Middle School. He was genuinely a great guy. We have managed to keep in touch on and off over the past 40+ years. My condolences to his family, Mr. Alvarez and Mrs. Cookie, Mike and Ricky. I never got the chance to meet his wife Veronica, but I know she was his rock. I am so sad.
