Eric Dill, age 57, of Lockport, entered into Heaven on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Born January 28, 1961 in Lockport, Eric is the son of Barbara (nee Searer) Dill and the late Paul Dill.
Eric loved his daughters, Mariebeth and Stephanie with all his heart. He enjoyed following NASCAR races, college basketball, and NFL football; watching TV, reading, playing board games and cards.
Eric studied and knew computers inside and out, building & improving his own through the years.
Survived by his beloved daughters Mariebeth JoyAnne and Stephanie LeeAnne Dill of Annandale, VA; his mother Barbara Dill of Barker, NY; brother Brian Dill of Canandaigua, NY; sisters Laurel (Marvin) Hill of Wilson, NY and Lisa (Stephen) Meloon of Barker, NY along with a foster sister, Rona Styres of Lockport, NY. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Erin, Amber, Bethany, & their families; Rebekah, Erica and Brian. Predeceased by his father, Paul Dill who died August 1, 2007 and a dear nephew, Jai Dill who died March 26, 2012.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held for Eric on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11:00 am from Olcott Bible Church, 5601 West Lake Road, Olcott, NY. Interment will be in Somerset Cemetery, Barker, NY.
