Vivian, her parents, and her three brothers, Lloyd A., Ralph, and Robert (Bobby) settled in the south, where Vivian took a train to school to earn her diploma from Maiden High School in North Carolina. She went on to attend Brevard Junior College. Vivian met Franklin S. Moore, Sr. of York, North Carolina, and had two children: Candace M. Schenk and Franklin S. Moore, Jr. Unfortunately, Franklin Sr. passed away within the first few years of their marriage, and Vivian moved to Evansville to be with her mother. There she raised her two children, then met and married Van Williams. She worked as a head teller at Old National Bank for 27 years, participated in the Evansville Business Women’s Association, and acted as an active member of the Methodist Temple. Vivian was an excellent cook and baker, and she and Van enjoyed spending time with family, golfing and traveling together.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Van, daughter Candace Schenk and son Franklin Moore, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janine E. Moore; son-in-law, Robert Schenk, grandchildren Alyssa (John) Healy and John Schenk, and great-grandchildren Kate and Tyghe Healy.
