Obituary of Tony G. Adair
Anthony Gene Adair, 52, of Boonville, was born August 26, 1970 in Noblesville, IN to Davie and Doris Adair of Sheridan, IN. He went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Tony graduated from Marion Adams High School in Sheridan, IN in 1989. He was united in marriage to Jennifer (Dockery) on July 9, 1994 and shared the most wonderful 29 years together. He attended Christian Fellowship church with his family, and he always said he felt close to God when he was outdoors in the wilderness. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking and attending sporting events, especially if his girls or nieces and nephews were playing. His greatest love was spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters (as he referred to them), and especially loved sharing Colorado with them on their last family vacation. He also enjoyed his many hunting and fishing trips with family and friends. Tony never met a stranger and could put anyone at ease as soon as they met him with his funny personality and big laughing smile. He was very close to all of his cousins and looked forward to getting together every year to catch up and maybe play a little cornhole and volleyball. He was so proud of his brother, and they were like a tornado when they were together, laughing and joking. Family and friends were very cherished by him, and he always reached out to be with them or lend a helping hand. He was the best husband, father and friend. He is fishing the best lakes now! He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jennifer Adair; children, Mackenzie Adair and Jordan Adair of Boonville, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Barbara Dockery of Chandler; brother, Brandon Adair (Jodi); nephew, Duncan Adair of Fishers, IN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Janice Kopatich of Mt. Vernon, IN; nephew, Kyle Kopatich (Bailee); great nephew, Tatum Kopatich of Mt. Vernon, IN , and niece, Kendra Steinhart (Jacob) of Mt. Vernon, IN.
