Teresa Ann Paul

Teresa was a devout catholic and lived a life of faith. She would often include prayer cards with her gifts to others.

She was a graduate of Bosse High School. When her children were school age, she went to nursing school to become a RN and received Sister Sophie’s “High Ideals for Nursing” award from Deaconess School of Nursing. She was a natural caregiver and worked in a hospital and also in home healthcare. She enjoyed spending her time helping others and volunteered her time at Mother Teresa's in Newburgh. Teresa spent many years cheering on her late husband and two sons at the dragstrip. She also enjoyed sending letters and cards to friends, drawing, coloring, and writing poems. Teresa absolutely loved Dalmatians!

She is survived by her sons, Eric S. Paul (Christine); Matthew A. Paul (Jessica) and Bradley R. Paul; daughter, Rachel M. Wolf (Bob); adopted children, Jimmy and Jennifer Terhune; grandchildren, Lauren, Alexis, Madalyn and Sophia; sister, Sondra Floyd (Don), and brothers, Dennis and Donald McBride.

Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Paul; and brother, Jerry McBride.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, Indiana, officiated by Fr. Claude “Dusty” Burns. A livestream of the service will be available at www.sjbnewburgh.org. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261 and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until Mass at the Church. Her final resting place will be in Alexander Memorial Park.
