Scott Alan Oxley

He graduated from Castle High School in 1982 and worked in trucking for over 20 years until recently working for Meade Johnson since 2014. Scott enjoyed fixing his cars, rehabbing his house, watching and reciting comedies, and whistling classic rock music. He was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church.

His vibrant sense of humor will be missed by his mother; his three children, Zachary Scott (Stephanie née Arnett), Nicholas Robert (Lori Jeffries), and Kathleen Marie Oxley; his grandchildren, Sophia Lorraine & Lydia Rose, Luke Robert, and Jaylen Carter Oxley; his brothers, Gary Wayne, Jr. (Cindy née Cash), Daniel Lee (Michelle née Penticuff), Andrea Kathleen Shanks (Don); and his 11 nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Keith Howard; his uncles, William Howard Stacy, Jr. and Jimmie Doyle Oxley; and a nephew.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday March 20, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261 where all are welcome. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
