Karen Anne Hamm

Karen Anne Goehring Hamm, 78, passed away on June 6, 2022, after losing the battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born on November 11, 1943, in Evansville, IN to the late Fred and Ruth Goehring. After moving from Newburgh, IN to Orlando, FL in 1999 she began working for Walt Disney World. She worked in many different sections but ended up working as a Secretary for the costume and cruise line. She loved her job and was on her 23rd year of service at the time of her passing. Karen was preceded in death by her spouse, Robert A. Hamm, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Caren "Chris" Cornett and spouse Keith; son, David Hamm and spouse Sara, and her grandchildren, Justin and Ali Cornett. A Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261.
