Deborah Jean Schnapf, 70, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born August 8, 1952, in Evansville, to the late Howard Herman and Lula Anna (White) Schnapf.
Deborah was a graduate of Castle High School, where she was in the band. She later attended Lockyear Business College. She was a member of the Oak Grove Homemaker’s Club, Past President of Purdue University Extension Homemaker’s Association, Rainbow Girls, 4-H and Junior Leaders. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and the Awana class. Deborah worked at CAPE for 10 years and King Mechanical for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin siblings, Robert and Roberta Schnapf.
Deborah is survived by a brother, Timothy R. Schnapf (Lorenza C.) of Houston, TX; niece, Rebecca N. Schnapf (Stephanie Mullen) of Evansville; and many loving family members.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Dane Gray, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
