Bonnie J. (Scholz) Wells, 82, of Boonville, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. She was born October 9, 1940 in Evansville to the late Erwin C. and Corrine (Grant) Scholz.
She was formerly a hairdresser and a member of the Indiana Hairdresser Association. Bonnie was a member of the Newburgh Town Council, was on the board of directors with the Newburgh Women’s Club, and a charter member of Historic Newburgh and Preservation Society. She was a supporter of the Warrick Humane Society and P.A.A.W.S. of Warrick County.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Earl Wells; son, Eric Wells; grandchildren, Sydney, Sheff (Jackson) and Morgan Wells, and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261.
