Today we celebrate Thomas Cho Shun To. He passed away peacefully on the 12th of May 2019 surrounded by the love of his family. He was fluent in Japanese, three dialects of Chinese and English. His versatility in languages led him to become a translator and an enthusiastic globetrotter. He was a voracious reader. We often see him resting in his favorite chair accompanied by a tower of books or periodicals.
Thomas Cho Shun To is survived by his wife Mei Kun To, children Carol To and Andrew To, children from his first marriage Wu-Chun Tu, Wu-Teh Tu, Mei-Huei Tu, Ya-Huei Tu and Wen-Huei Tu, and 12 grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 W. 76th Street New York, NY at 3:00 PM on Sunday 19 May 2019.
