Raphael David, MD A gentle man, a gentleman, a humble man, an extraordinarily kind man. Dr. David was internationally recognized and highly accomplished in the field of pediatric endocrinology. He was Professor of Pediatrics, founder and past director of the Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Division at NYU Medical Center. He took great pleasure in helping children, particularly at his Bellevue Hospital clinics and in teaching generations of physicians. His ‘joie de vivre’, radiant smile and sparkling eyes will never be forgotten by those who loved him – his family, friends, colleagues, patients and students.
