For 44 years Marco consumed life with zest, filling spaces and people he encountered with contagious laughter, kindness and humor. After attending Trinity School, Notre Dame International in Rome and graduating from GW University, he joined the family business as a sales manager, while also pursuing his MBA in order to fulfill his goal of continuity of a Vitelli at the head of the company. When disease limited his ability to serve the company, he transferred that passion and energy to vigorously combating the Huntington aggressor, that still today has no cure. During this time, he was supported by his Buddhist practice and his unwavering loyalty for the New York Yankees. His eternal courage, his tenacity, his smile and wit remains an inspiration to all, and this is his enduring legacy that we carry with us for the rest of our lives.
Marco is survived by his wife Yoko, his mother Claudia and step-father Giampaolo, his sister Francesca and brother-in-law Filippo and his loving niece Sofia.
