To the family of Larry Birns

I am a cousin of Maurice Zucker.  Maurice and Larry were always an important part of our family.  They spent a number of Thanksgiving celebrations at my apartment, and occasionally would be here for a family spring group birthday celebration.  Larry was so much fun to be around for all of us, my children and then grandchildren included.  In addition, Maurice, Larry and I would occasionally get together for dinner in their Village neighborhood where we would catch up on all things theatrical and musical.  We were all opera and theater lovers, so it was a delight to share our "reviews" with one another.
I am so very sad that the circumstances of the past year, COVIDS and, in addition, the decline of Maurice's health, created a barrier to our getting together, even to my attempt to get to see them.  It felt so strange and so frustrating.  Of course, I wish even more now that these times had been different,  now that Larry has passed away.  He was a lovely man, a loyal and loving partner to Maurice and the life of the party!  I shall miss him.
Please, if there is any memorial service planned for Larry, I would very much like to be notified.
