Elaine Cohen

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Valerie, her son, Allen, her daughter in law, Shannon and her grandchildren, Jenna, Jake, Phillip and Ryan. She will now rest in peace with her beloved husband, Saul, her dear son, Michael, her two brothers, Elly and Beby, her sister, Lil, her parents, Esther and Abraham and her many friends.

Those who knew Elaine felt as if they knew her forever. Once she liked you, you were treated like part of the family. If you were lucky, you would get socks or some kind of present during the holidays!

Her four grandchildren were the lights of her life. When one of them walked in the room, she dropped everything and her attention was fixed on them. Her special bond with them will last forever.

Elaine was the quintessential fashionista, working at the luxury clothing brand, Escada, on Fifth Avenue. She was a star, quickly becoming the number one salesperson in the world. Her clientele loved her and many were close friends.

She will be terribly missed by anyone she touched. Indeed, she was quite a special woman.

A Memorial will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 4pm. Located at 180 West 76 Street in NYC.
