Paul David Childress, age 44, of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022. He was born on February 14, 1978 to Lena Donelson and James Mitchell Childress in Athens, Texas. Paul married his best friend, Sabrina, on February 22, 2006, whom he shared three beautiful children.
Paul worked as a supervisor of Davey Tree Expert Company. He was so many things to so many people. A father, a brother, a papaw, a uncle, a friend, a son, a co-worker, and a best friend to his loving wife Sabrina. They shared many happy memories together. Paul was a simple man, who could often be heard laughing and enjoying life by neighbors with his wife on their front porch. Paul loved entertaining at his home in Lone Mountain for anyone that wanted to visit.
This very talented and loving man was preceded in death by grandparents Jessica Louise Donelson July 5, 2007; Joyce Childress March 21, 1997 and Jimmy Childress April 27, 2012 both of Elmore City, OK; Father James Mitchell Childress September 21, 2018 of Paul’s Valley, OK.
He was survived by his wife Sabrina Childress 41 of Tazewell, TN; their 3 children: Paul David Childress, Jr, 23 of New Tazewell, daughter-in- law Makaylah Childress and Grandson Xayvain Childress. Daughter Olivia Grace Childress, 19 of Tazewell, Tn. Son Michael Allen Childress 17 of Tazewell, Tn. Brother and his wife Michael and Ruby Childress of OK, and their children Paige and Mittie Childress, and a host of other family and friends.
All family and friends are invited to Coffey’s Funeral Home 937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825 on Friday September 23, 1 PM to 3 PM, in remembrance and celebration of a life that will never be forgotten.
