Mrs. Edith Mae Honeycutt Pressnell was born December 27, 1931 and passed away December 14, 2018 at Diversicare Nursing Home. She was saved at an early age and was a faithful member of Duncan's Chapel Baptist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star Lodge # 232. She retired from England's Manufacturing after 27 years. She married Lawrence Pressnell April 15, 1950 who preceded her in death December 15, 2013. Also preceding her in death was her parents, Sterl and Dorothy Honeycutt; sister Reba Pressnell; brothers, Jim, Shelby, Ray and Paul; infant sister Mary; sisters-in-law Minnie Honeycutt, Marie Norris, Cecil Stickle, Helen Smith, Velma Keck and Faye Layne; brothers-in-law Everette Pressnell, John Pressnell, and Tom Pressnell.
Edith was survived by son: Larry and wife Pam Pressnell.
Daughter and husband: Kay and Jackie Munsey.
Grandchildren: Dana Webber, Travis Pressnell, Andy Munsey, Michael Pressnell and Jennifer Hall
Great Grandchildren: D.J. Bradley; Taylor and Jaylen Pressnell; Jaycee and Julianna Hall, Kamden , Kason, and Korbin Pressnell; Harrison and Jackson Munsey.
Brothers: Carson and wife Nancy Honeycutt and Wade and wife Joyce Honeycutt.
Sisters-in-law: Nancy (Paul) Honeycutt, Jo-Ellen (Shelby) Honeycutt, Joyce and Roscoe Watson, Margaret Pressnell, and Thelma Pressnell and many Nieces, Nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends Monday December 17, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.m. with Eastern Star Funeral at 7:00 P.M. and funeral service to follow. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday December 18, 2018 at Duncan Baldwin Cemetery.
