Bronell Gulley age 77 of Harrogate was born June 22, 1941 and went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2018. He was saved at Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church when he was a young boy. He attended Little Valley Baptist Church for several years before he became ill. Everyone knew him as “Gulley”. He never met a stranger and always loved to talk to everyone. He was one of the “whittlers” at Anders’ Car Lot and one of the McDonald’s coffee crew. He was known for his love of selling and trading everything from guns, knives, pocket watches, and even a horse now and then. Most of all he was a good and loving father to his two children. He worked at Giles Industries and retired after 42 years. He started in the plant in Middlesboro, KY and then helped build the feed mill that once was at the Flea Market and the one that was in New Tazewell, TN. He operated the feed mill in New Tazewell for many years. He and R.O. Giles rode to work together many days and enjoyed their time together. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife Ruthie Mae Brock Gulley; father and mother, White John Gulley and Maggie Brittain Gulley; sister, Bonnie Christine McCoy.

Joette Noe and husband Rick Noe of Tazewell, TN
Grandchildren: William Ellison, Matthew Ellison, Kayla Ellison and Dustin Gillespie all of Indianapolis, IN
Sister: Nadine Ingram of Irvington, KY
Special niece: Glenda Gail Benham of Brandenburg, KY
Special nephew: Jerryal Ingram of Louisville, KY and several other nieces and nephews
He had a special friend and caregiver Nettie Noe whom he loved spending time with.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Friday July 20, 2018 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Friday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 21, 2018 in the Bethel Cemetery.
