Alice Mary Hanson

Alice Mary Hanson a long time resident of New Rochelle passed away Monday, March 26, 2012. She was 79 years old. Alice was born in Larchmont, New York on June 26, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Francis P. and Margaret C. Footen Mc Geough. Alice was the devoted wife of the late Daniel whom she married on May 25, 1952. Daniel passed away on March 15, 2000. She enjoyed crafts, Pokeno and dancing and had a love for animals. Alice was one of seven siblings and was predeceased by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She is the loving mother of Gail (Louis) Formisano, Daniel (Candice) Hanson, Gary (Laura) Hanson, David (Rose) Hanson, Kenneth (Maria) Hanson, Debbie (Louis) Vazquez and Kim (Chris) Scampone, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with a 10:30 a.m. funeral mass on Friday at the Blessed Sacrament Church with interment to follow in the Beechwood’s Cemetery. Contributions in Alice’s memory may be made to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942
