Thomas King, 88, of Bayonet Point, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his home. Born January 22, 1928 in Newark, NJ, Thomas moved to Florida with his wife Janet King in 1980 from Woodbridge, NJ. He was employed with the Pasco County Florida school system and was a machinist mold caster in New Jersey for many years. Thomas joined the Navy and served on the USS Tarawa (CV-40). Thomas enjoyed looking at old pictures on his computer, watching baseball and always finished the daily crossword puzzle in his newspaper. Survivors include three daughters, Victoria (Thomas) Pais of Spotswood, NJ, Deborah Miller of Elizabeth, NJ, Valerie Gunther of New Port Richey, FL. Two sons, Victor Acevedo of New Port Richey, FL and Kevin (Julie) King of Bayonet Point, FL. Three sister-in-laws, Lucy Pavone of Penna, Anna Sinavage of New Port Richey, FL and Florience Pajer of Sunrise, FL. Twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
