Day, Robert (Bob) Lowell, 90, died August 3, 2014 at Marliere Hospice Care Center. Born to Walter H. and Albie Skipper Day, June 14, 1924 in Montour, Idaho. He came here from Akron, Ohio in 1968 and was a member of First Christian Church, New Port Richey since 1968, where he was an elder, Bible teacher, and Youth Leader. Formerly served on Board of Directors of Sunshine Christian Home, Holiday, Fl. Mr. Day served in U.S. Navy three years in World War II, as Aviation Electronics Mate, First Class, installing and servicing RADAR in fighter planes. He was an accountant, working in his father-in-law's business, The Boyce Company, home building and land developing, in Akron, Ohio and New Port Richey and area. Before retiring, owned and operated Richey Data Center. Survived by wife of 63 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Boyce Day; sister-in-law, Sarah Jean (Jean) Boyce Morrison and brother-in-law, Dr. John L. (Jack) Morrison, Carlsbad, Ca.; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
