Funeral arrangements will be held on Friday, October 4th , 2024 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home at 4244 Madison St., New Port Richey,

Florida. View will be at 11am, following by religious services at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 5340 High St, New Port Richey, Florida, followed by Gravesite procession and finishing with a reception and Celebration of Life for Connie.

Connie was born on December 14, 1923 in Melo, Portugal to Jose Bicho and Maria Bernardes. She came to the United States in her 20’s where she met her first love, Antonio Ferreira and were married on January 16th, 1954 for 31 years until he passed April 4th 1985. Connie worked at Capella Trading company where she was assistant store manager for 15 years before moving to New port Richey. She moved to New Port Richey in 1976. She then worked at K-Mart for another 15 years where she was given several employee award during her tenure working in ladies wear. She was an avid patron of the Portuguese-American clubs in Holiday and Pot Richey. She love to cook, especially for her family. Her compassion to always help others was why

everyone that knew her, fell in love with her. She had a heart of gold. The world was a better and beautiful place when she was here on this earth. She now will be in heaven with her husband, 8 siblings. We will miss you dearly.

Connie is survived by her son, John, daughter in law, Ivonne, daughter, Dinah.

Her grandchildren Christina, Michael, Jonathan, Ericka, her husband Freddy. Her great grandchildren Dominic, Lola, Derian and Daniel. She is also survived by loving Nieces and Nephews and Cousins all over

the United States.
