William “Bill” Edward Forson Jr, 72, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away Saturday evening, April 2, 2016. A memorial celebration of life picnic to honor William will be on Sunday April 17, 2016. Family and friends may call 504-635-9754 for additional information. Bill was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 1, 1943 to William and Madeline Forson. Bill was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, and father who loved spending time with his family. As a Vietnam War Veteran he selflessly served our country that he loved for 15+ years; joining in 1960 until he was honorable discharged on April 16, 1976. Bill worked as a bonded Master Locksmith for 35+ years in Louisiana and Connecticut, where he retired from Choate Rosemary Hall in 2005. Bill was a Scout Master and loved the outdoors, camping and visiting state parks. Most of all he loved hanging out on the pavilion over Lake Pontchartrain at the “Royal Flush” fishing camp in Little Woods, Louisiana. William is survived by his mother Madeline Morlas, his wife Rose M Forson, his sisters LaVerne F Amore’ and Caroline M Clark (Joseph Clark), his daughter Melissa A Davis (Peter Davis), his ex-wife Irene Falcon (Ron Falcon), his step-daughter Tina V Albritton (Greg Albritton), his step-sons Kevin and Bryan Vicknair, furry son Jeter, several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father William E Forson Sr (1960), his sister Irene F Wilson (2010), and his furry son of 17 years Tai Wan Forson (2007).
