W. Sue Katz, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born on October 12, 1935 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. On November 29, 1959, she married Albert Katz. Together, they raised two children, Ralph Peyton Katz and Terri Lynn Katz.
Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Lynn Katz. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Albert Katz; her son, Ralph P. Katz, M.D. (Dollie); and two grandchildren, Peyton and Ruth Katz.
Sue enjoyed spending time with and cooking for the people she loved. She was an incredible cook, an avid reader, and loved to travel.
The Katz family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff at West Jefferson Medical Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at All Saints Mausoleum (in Metairie Cemetery), 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 12:00PM with Rabbi Todd Silverman officiating.
