Samuel Peter Centanni

On December 8, 2014, Almighty God Himself bid His faithful child, Samuel Peter Centanni, 88, to come into His divine presence and behold Him face to face. Beloved son of the late Salvador Centanni and Sarah DeSalvo, and brother of the late Michael Joseph Centanni. He is survived by his dear children, Darlene, Ronald and René Centanni, and his ex-wife, Dolores M. Centanni. He was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie in St. Edward the Confessor Parish for the last 40 years. He was retired from Crown Buick. He was also an honorably discharged, proud World War II veteran of the United States Navy. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
