Ronald Nicholas St. Pierre, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3rd at the age of 83. Ronnie loved and lived life to the fullest. He served in both the Marines and Navy, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Ronnie was truly a “jack of all trades” in his beloved city of New Orleans: a barber, school bus driver, tour bus driver, taxi cab owner, and even a pilot. He loved people but most of all he loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Guillot St. Pierre, and their life together was filled with laughter and happiness. Ronnie is preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Chauppette St. Pierre, his parents, Nicholas and Elmire St. Pierre, and his sister, Joy St. Pierre Perreand. He is survived by his nieces Deborah Hackney (David), Denise Shepard (Bill) and his nephew Albert (Perry) Perreand (Kathy). He is also going to be missed by his great nieces and nephews, Joy Shepard, Julie Landry, David Hackney, Daniel Hackney, Darah Robbins and their children. Also his stepchildren Robbie, Randy, Richie Guillot and Jan Guillot Jeansonne (Mark) and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 4:00 PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine’s Hospice of Slidell.
