Rolan Raymond McCollum passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at the age of 84.
Rolan is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Cecelia Raspino McCollum; children Michael McCollum, Julie Dubuisson, Jeff McCollum, Craig McCollum (Holly) and Melissa McCollum; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Brady; daughter-in-law Reba McCollum; siblings Joseph McCollum, Christian McCollum and Frances Gaspard. Rolan was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rolan was a quiet, gentle soul who will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
