Rodolfo graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1983. After graduating, he started working for the United States government in 1983 and continued to work with the Navy and Marines for 37 years.
With his bright smile, he befriended anyone he met. He was a kind and selfless man with a big heart and was always there when someone was in need.
He enjoyed spending his time cheering on the Saints, LSU, and Tulane football.
Rodolfo was predeceased by his father and mother and his sister, Tania Frilot. He is survived by:
his brothers and sister, Alberto Jr. (Pam), Lourdes, and Ricardo Fernandez;
his nephews and niece, Robert III (Kayley), Jason (Anna), Michael, Dustin (Hilary), Melissa Frilot; and was also loved by many great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Rodolfo will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
