Philip Jack Generose Sr

Philip Jack Generose, Sr passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Philip was predeceased by his beloved wife of 69 years, Helen S. Generose. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Paul and Stella Generose who preceded him in death, he is also preceded in death by his sisters, Lena G. Fulton and Marion Generose. Philip is survived by his five loving children, Philip J. Generose, Jr. (Tammy) of Broussard, LA, Phyllis G. Gioe, Paulette G. Zibilich, Paul J. Generose and Patrick J. Generose (Vickie); eleven loving grandchildren, Philip P. Generose (Aubry), Tamara Nelson, Corey Generose, Brooke Generose, Brandon Gioe, Emily Cassidy (Sean), Ray Verges, Jr., Sarah Verges, Ashley Generose, Patrick Generose,Jr. and Preston Generose; seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Philip is also survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am followed with a Memorial Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon.
