Peter is survived by his son, Ryan Dawe; his mother, Joanna Foltz; his brother, Charles Foltz (Jennifer); his nephews, Gabriel, Maximus, and Lamont; and his dog, Murphy. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl James Foltz.
Peter was born in Spokane, Washington on December 5, 1979. He graduated from Gonzaga Prep High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from University of New Orleans.
He was a sergeant with the Kenner Police Department with service of 20 years. He enjoyed attending concerts, watching the Seattle Seahawks, and attending wrestling events.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 7:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 5:00PM.
