Peggy Jane Malone

Peggy Jane Malone born July 4, 1959 in New Orleans, LA passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 in Kenner, LA at the age of 63. She attended Cabrini High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Touro School of Nursing. She was a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Metairie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Louis Malone Sr. and Frances LaMarca Malone.

Peggy is survived by her loving daughter, Katherine Kensinger (Kendon); her adoring granddaughter, Khloe Levett; her sister and brother, Linda Malone and David L. Malone Jr. (Rebecca); her nieces and nephews, David L. Malone III (Reagan), Lauren O’Dwyer (Andrew), Erin Hatfield (Landon), and Patricia Bootsma (Ryan); her great nieces and nephews, Kali Malone, Grace Malone, Riley O’Dwyer, Ellis Hatfield, Nate Hatfield, Aiden Bootsma , Annalyn Bootsma and Abigail O’Dwyer.

She spent her life nurturing and caring for those around her. “Always be humble and kind” was the perfect description of Peggy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by a Mass at 12:00PM. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.
