Paul S. Lloyd, Sr., age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Mary Burns Lloyd. He is survived by his four siblings, Connie Lloyd, Mark Lloyd, James Lloyd, and Alfrieda Sparks; and his son, Paul S. Lloyd, Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 18, 1947. In 1969, he enlisted with the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of sergeant, and served in the Vietnam War.
Paul graduated from Xavier University Preparatory School, and attended Xavier University. He graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. Paul was a school teacher, and his career spanned over twenty years with the New Orleans Public School System. He retired shortly after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
A private burial was held at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana.
