I'm so sad to hear Nora has left us.  She was a blessing, a great friend, and a joy.  A wonderful person.

I fell in love with Nora the minute I met her. Her heart was pure and she had an aura of love and caring for everyone. You will be so missed by many.

We are shocked first of all, to have heard the passing of Nora! Nora, her sisters and myself went to Riverdale High back in the day. Plus all the help she gave to me with English classes.  Riverdale's best AMBASSADOR!!

Funny thing was, I never expected to be a tiny part of THE BOWLER FAMILY - when I married my husband (Jean Viguerie [Joe's son] of August 1986)!!

I first met Nora at Metairie Academy when we were both getting our sons settled in for their first day of second grade. We sat them at the same table together to comfort each other and they are still friends to this day. I remember Nora always being very involved with her children and helping out at school whenever she could. She was always such a joy to talk to whenever we ran into each other over years. I have so much respect and admiration for the courage and determination she displayed throughout her illness. I have no doubt she will continue to watch over her family, be there for all their milestones, and smile upon them with great pride from heaven. May she now find rest and peace. Nora was a ray of sunshine and inspiration to everyone that knew her.  Her smile could light up a room and her laughter was contagious.  She will be missed.

Condolences to Nora's family from the Zebricks.  A St. Rita classmate of mine, and sister of my brother in law.  Always, always friendly and pleasant.  Her smile and warm personality is being noted by so many here, yet worth mentioning again as we are in shortage of such things in this world.  Nora was special and will always be remembered fondly by all.

Emily - The Rasmus family is very sorry for your loss.  Your mom was the most fun and giving person in the world.  Our class trip to Disney still makes me smile. I am struggling with words to say so I'll just say My heartfelt condolences to Nora's family.  I am glad Nora and I had the chance to meet again after so many years. She was still that same ray of light I remember growing up with her.  Nora always made people smile with her loving, caring, and funny personality. The softness of a heart, the wit of a comedian and the understanding of a Solomon - that was the Nora we remember.  We didn't know her well, and who does but those very close, but we felt her spirit when we did get the chance to connect and we are the lucky ones.  Now she's in God's arms and from there she can help pull the strings for those she loves, in guidance and in hope.  Be comforted within each other.  We're with  you in all loving possible ways.
