He was born in New Orleans on February 5, 1970 to Cyril Glennon Melville, Jr. and Gayle Allain Melville. He graduated from Jesuit High School and received his B.A. from Southeastern Louisiana University. He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He had a career with The Russell Marine Group as a marine surveyor. He was a happy, fun-loving person, and had many friends. His smile and personality would light up any room. He loved Saints football and spending time with his family, particularly his beloved son, Jacob.
He is survived by his son, Jacob Michael Delcambre; parents, C.G. Melville, Jr. and Gayle Melville; step-parents, Kathleen Melville and William Altenhein; sisters, Rynni Melville Henderson (Larry) and Emily Melville Giovingo (Luke); brother, Cyril Glennon Melville, III; nieces, Olivia, Abby and Mary; nephews, Owen and Nicholas; and devoted friend, Melanie Nadeau.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass officiated by Rev. Anthony McGinn, S.J. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard in New Orleans, on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM.
