Michael Anthony Mancuso

Michael Anthony (Smitty) Mancuso, age 65, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. Mr. Mancuso was born November 11, 1947 in New Orleans, LA. He was a long time business owner of Covington Auto Electric. He then retired to Bay Saint Louis, MS where he enjoyed his life. Mr. Mancuso was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Juliette Messenger Mancuso and brothers and sisters, Albert Mancuso, Theresa Messenger, Alice Sampere, Bill Mancuso and John Mancuso. Survivors include his sister, Joann (Josie) Loga and brother, Joseph Mancuso; children, Sharon A. Myers and husband Brian and Frank A. Mancuso and wife Sissy; grandchildren, Michael Stilwell, Meagen Myers, Frank Mancuso, Jr., and Emily Mancuso as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who put his family above all in his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but will live on in the hearts of us all.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. The funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon. Burial will to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to The American Kidney Foundation.
